GVAC Rescue does not have a permanent adoption centre but we have a group foster home and are looking for people to volunteer their time to do light cleaning and play with our resident foster kitties
Cat Care Volunteers: Assist in a variety of light housekeeping and cat care duties.
The main duties for each shift are virus cleaning of common surfaces, cleaning litter boxes and water dishes, and sweeping & mopping the floors; with a variety of other tasks as time permits.
These duties are supervised by a fluctuating number of resident kitties of various ages and personalities, who would love some cuddling, brushing, and playtime as well once the chores are completed.
If you have time and like to drive we are on the look out for volunteers that can assist with pick ups of donations and supplies on a flexible basis.
We also have opportunities for Volunteers to assist us in fundraising and awareness events such as bottle drives, adoption events, ect.
